About
Mark Levine
Fractional CMO & Portfolio Strategist
For two decades I was a marketing leader, building consumer, trade, and enterprise brands and businesses across MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Paramount+, and Pluto TV, in 180+ markets.

That meant consumer marketing and brand campaigns across a portfolio of some of the world's most recognized IP, and the B2B and trade marketing strategy and infrastructure across all revenue lines (including distribution partnerships, affiliate networks, sponsorship, and corporate commercial relationships) that turned individual brands into a connected global business.
Â
The Nickelodeon ecosystem alone supported $500M+ in licensing and distribution revenue.

What I Believe
Something I've noticed consistently: the organizations that struggle most aren't the ones short on creative ambition. They're the ones where too many good ideas have accumulated without enough clarity about which ones to focus on.

What I keep coming back to is something I saw repeatedly inside large portfolios. The biggest commercial opportunities were rarely sitting inside the individual brands. They were in the connections between them, a distribution relationship that unlocked a licensing deal, a brand partnership that opened a new market. Growth adds. The interesting question is always what connects.Â
What I Do Now
I work with leadership teams who feel their business has more potential than the current approach is unlocking, and want a fresh perspective, strategic expertise, deep experience of managing portfolios, a passion for global creative that connects with audiences and partners, and someone who has operated inside systems like theirs.

That means fractional CMO engagements: strategic direction for individual brands and across enterprise opportunities, creative marketing leadership, connecting brands with the audiences and partners that matter.

And portfolio growth strategy for multi-brand and PE-backed businesses: identifying where to focus, where to concentrate, and where assets can be connected or repackaged to create more value together.

Each engagement is different. The best place to start is a conversation.
